
7th April 1994 - Lloyds & Midland Boycott – Lloyds AGM Disrupted
On April 7th 1994 around 60 protesters disrupted the Lloyds Bank AGM as part of the Manchester-based Lloyds and Midland Boycott Campaign. The bank was clearly expecting a protest as it had drafted in extra security guards, who filled the two front rows of seats, making it difficult for protesters to pull off their plan to lock on to a table on the main stage.
