7th February 1994 - AMB occupy Lloyds Bank

LAMB activists occupy the Lloyds Bank near Whitworth Park to highlight the bank’s lack of environmental lending criteria. Midland Bank has already admitted that it has not environmental lending criteria. The bank refuses to answer the question on the grounds that it will give their competitors an unfair economic advantage.
The protesters are removed by police and threatened with arrest, although no arrests are made.
